My grandpa uses walkers for elderly and it helps him get around a lot better than if he didn't have a walker. I think these are extremely helpful.

When my sister was going through rehabilitation for Multiple Sclerosis she used a walker. She woke up one morning and was paralyzed on her left side. She used a wheelchair, a walker, and a cane before she was able to walk completely on her own again. I think having a walker was a good tool for rehabilitation!
